I’m a junior at Utah State University pursuing my degree in Agricultural Communications emphasis in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. To take you back to the good old days I am originally from Woods Cross Utah. When I was nine years old my family moved to West Point where we had a little property and we bought my very first horse. I had a love for horses my whole life and that was my opportunity to fulfill my dreams and capitalize on my passion. This involvement in the western industry provided me with invaluable and life altering experiences that would place me on my current path. I learned I have a talent for working with people and thinking creatively in order to appeal to a larger or more diverse audience. I hope to be able to utilize these skills by marketing and guiding the sport of rodeo into the future by keeping with the traditions of the old west and excitement of the adrenaline packed action. By broadening our fan base I can be a part of ensuring that the way of life I love will be preserved for generations to come and perhaps a little girl living in the city somewhere who is a cowgirl at heart will have the opportunity to follow her dreams of being involved in this incredible industry.
